Partner Spotlight: Mercury Creative Group

Welcome to the first in our Partner Spotlight series, where we feature the agencies and professionals who bring Insi to their clients and share how accessibility fits into the work they do.

We’re starting with Mercury Creative Group, a team of brand strategists, designers, and marketers who help leaders bring clarity and alignment to complex change. They work with executive, marketing, and association leaders across associations, B2B organizations, professional services firms, specialty medical clinics, nonprofits, and foundations.

Accessibility has become a standard part of Mercury’s website conversations. When they partner with ArcStone, also an Insi partner agency, on development, Insi is introduced early, so accessibility is built into the project from the beginning rather than addressed after a site launches.

We asked the Mercury team about their work, how accessibility became part of what they offer, and what advice they’d give agencies taking accessibility seriously. Here’s what they shared.

Q&A with Mercury Creative Group

1) Tell us a bit about your business and the kind of clients you work with.

Mercury Creative Group is a team of brand strategists, designers, and marketers who help leaders bring clarity and alignment to complex change. We listen closely, ask better questions, uncover patterns, and help leaders make sense of scattered perspectives so they can define a brand and direction that people can understand and believe in.

We work primarily with executive, marketing, and association leaders who are responsible for moving their organizations through change with more clarity, alignment, and confidence. Our clients include associations, B2B organizations, professional services firms, specialty medical clinics, nonprofits and foundations, and other growth-minded organizations navigating change.

2) How did accessible websites become part of what you offer?

Accessibility has become increasingly important in our website work over the last five-plus years. We work with clients across a range of industries, including organizations connected to city and state government, where accessibility requirements are especially important.

But it goes beyond compliance. Many of our clients simply believe their digital presence should be accessible to everyone. As their strategic and creative partner, we want to make sure the websites we’re helping create reflect those values.

3) What is a project you are proud of where accessibility mattered?

Rather than one specific project, we’re proud that accessibility has become a standard part of the website conversations we have with our clients. We’re often helping organizations through a larger change, whether a new brand, new positioning, a new website, or a new chapter for the organization. Accessibility is part of making sure that new experience works for and welcomes the people they’re trying to reach.

4) Where does Insi fit into your workflow?

Insi is introduced early in our website development process. When we’re partnering with ArcStone on development, accessibility becomes part of the onboarding and development conversation rather than something we try to address after the site is built.

That helps us set the expectation with clients from the beginning that accessibility is part of building a strong website.

5) What is one accessibility misconception you wish more clients understood?

We wish accessibility didn’t feel optional. Ideally, every organization would see it as a basic requirement of creating a good digital experience, not simply something to address because of compliance requirements. If you’re investing in a website to reach and serve people, accessibility should be part of that investment.

6) What advice would you give an agency just starting to take accessibility seriously?

Find a strong partner.

At Mercury, we know where our expertise begins and ends. We’re brand strategists, designers, and marketers, not website development or accessibility experts. That’s one of the reasons our partnership with ArcStone is so valuable.

We rely on their team to stay current on the technology, standards, and advancements in accessibility. That allows us to confidently bring those capabilities to our clients while staying focused on what we do best.

Ultimately, having the right partners makes all of us better at serving our clients.

7) Anything you want other partners to know, or a way for them to connect with you?

Mercury is a strategy-first brand partner for B2B companies and associations navigating meaningful change. We help leaders make sense of complexity, align people around what matters, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

If your organization is evolving, whether you’re repositioning your brand, entering a new stage of growth, navigating a leadership or organizational shift, or simply need greater clarity around where you’re headed, we’d love to connect. You can reach the Mercury team at our website.
